today at 11 o’clock I will be interviewed by Swedish Radio P4 regarding the environment and diving in general here in Sweden.
One of the most common misconception is that there is very little to see down there, but diving in Sweden is awsome, it can be really beautiful and strange with beautiful creatures and nature. But what stands out is our wrecks because the low salinity along a large portion of the sea border where the shipworm can not live, so wrecks dated back to several hundreds of years is in pristine condition. Even steel ships survive longer because the salinity doesnt break down the metals.

I will also talk about a project where our divers and others from SEA-U, LTH, and Malmö Museer want to make dive park for divers where we take a seafloor where there are low oxygen and a lot of dead plants and make it thrive with life again and with better water quality.
